🛠️ Troubleshooting Desks & Door Alignment

↕️ Adjustable Desk

If you're experiencing any issues with your desk not lowering or raising properly, follow these steps to reset the desk back to full functionality.

Steps to initialize a Zenbooth Adjustable Desk:

    1. Unplug the desk's power cord and plug it back into the power source.
    2. Press the DOWN button on the desk until the desk reaches its lowest position. Release DOWN button.
    3. Press and hold the DOWN button for 10 seconds and then release.
    4. Hold the DOWN button again until the desk lowers slightly and raises back up.

Your desk is ready!

🚪 Door Not Aligned

If your Zenbooth door isn’t closing smoothly, feels misaligned, or rubs on the frame, the fix is almost always the same: the booth needs to be properly leveled. Because Zenbooths assemble panel-by-panel, even a slight floor variation can affect the door’s swing.

🔧 Door Adjustment: Solo, Duo & Quad

(Models with no leveling feet)

These models rely on the floor itself for leveling. If your door won’t self-close, catches on the frame, or feels uneven:

1️⃣ Check the floor

  • Make sure the booth is sitting on a flat, level surface.
  • Carpet and rugs can compress unevenly especially plush or padded carpet.

For Duo & Quad:

  • Because these models have no built-in floor, uneven flooring underneath can exaggerate door alignment issues.

2️⃣ Use thin shims under the base

If the floor is not perfectly level:

  • Slide a thin shim (provided in hardware kit) under the corner(s) of the booth base where the door is sagging or rubbing.
  • Add or remove shims until the door opens and closes smoothly, without rising or dipping at the swing point.

3️⃣ Test the door again

  • Open and close the door several times.
  • The door should self-close smoothly and sit flush with the frame.
  • Once aligned, no further adjustment is usually needed unless the booth is moved.

🔧 Door Adjustment: Solo Pro

(Model with built-in leveling feet)

The Solo Pro has six leveling feet built into the base, allowing precise micro-adjustments. If your door rises, drops, or doesn’t close evenly, you can correct it using the feet, no shims needed.

If the door rises upward as it closes:

  • Raise Foot #1 (front-right) or
  • Lower Foot #5 (center-front)

If the door drops downward as it closes:

  • Raise Foot #5 (center-front)

If the door feels “twisted” or rubs unevenly:

  • Make small adjustments to Feet #1–#4 (the corner feet) until the booth sits squarely and the door swings freely.

How to adjust

  • Turn the leveling feet clockwise to raise, counter-clockwise to lower.
  • Make small adjustments (⅛ - ¼ turn at a time), then test the door after each change.

Pro tip

If the booth was recently moved, make sure all leveling feet were fully retracted before moving, then re-leveled afterward. This prevents strain on the frame and keeps the door aligned.
