🪛 DIY Assembly

Zenbooths are designed for easy installation with basic tools.

Build Times 

With a team of 2–3 people, typical build times are:

  • Zenbooth Solo & Solo Pro: 1.5-2 hours
  • Zenbooth Duo: 2-2.5 hours
  • Zenbooth Quad: 3-3.5 hours

If you elect to build yourself:

  • We recommend an experienced build team for both the Duo and Quad booths due to the larger number of components and steps.
  • Please review the build instructions for your model ahead of time to make sure your team is prepared.

 

🧑‍🔧 What’s Included with Zenbooth's Professional Installation?

When you purchase Zenbooth Professional Installation, you get:

  • ✅ Expert install of your Zenbooths
  • ✅ A 2-person (minimum) certified install crew
  • ✅ Removal of packaging materials to your bin and/or off-site (as arranged)

Installers will assemble the booth(s) in the location you’ve designated and make sure everything is correctly put together before they leave.

They are not required to:

  • Run or modify electrical circuits
  • Move or reposition the booth once assembled

So it’s important to choose and prepare your booth location carefully before install day.

🕒 What to Expect with Professional Installation

Here’s how the process typically works:

  • The contact receiving delivery will be contacted by phone directly by our carrier and installation team about scheduling, typically 1-2 business days after delivery.
  • Our installers carry commercial insurance appropriate for work in U.S. commercial spaces (within their service areas in the contiguous United States).
  • There may be an additional fee for:
    • Time-sensitive or after-hours installs
    • Weekend work
    • Additional work outside the agreed scope (for example, extra moves or unusual access challenges)

Your exact timing and any special conditions will be coordinated directly with you before the install.

👷 Availability & Building Requirements

If you’re interested in Zenbooth’s Professional Installation Services, there are a couple of important caveats:

  • Our services may not be available in all buildings.
  • Some locations require union labor or specific trades, which may limit or prevent our installers from working onsite.

Please check with your local facilities coordinator to verify if union or other labor requirements are mandatory in your building before you commit to Professional Installation. Special building requirements may require additional fees.

💵 Professional Installation Pricing (Contiguous U.S. Only)

If you’d prefer a done-for-you experience, you can add Zenbooth Professional Installation for an additional fee per booth:

  • Zenbooth Solo – $540
  • Zenbooth Solo Pro – $540
  • Zenbooth Duo – $940
  • Zenbooth Quad – $1,540

🔁 Repeated Assembly & Disassembly

Zenbooths are not specifically designed for frequent assembly and disassembly, but:

  • Our in-house testing has shown they can be reinstalled numerous times when great care is taken during the process.
  • We recommend using as few power tools as possible for best results, so as to not overstrip or overtighten connecting points.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • The Zenbooth Duo and Quad are less well-suited for repeated tear-downs because they have more parts and connections, which increases the chance of challenges during reinstallation.
  • If you expect to transport Zenbooths between locations, we strongly recommend purchasing crating services with your preferred logistics partner so the components are properly protected between locations.
