# 🫧 Cleaning & Maintenance

## Zenbooths are super easy to clean! No special supplies needed. 🧼

For a quick and easy guide, download our [Zenbooth Cleaning Instructions](https://community.zenbooth.net/hubfs/Instructions%2c%20Guides/Zenbooth%20Cleaning%20Instructions.pdf?hsLang=en).

### **Exterior & Interior Panels (laminate surfaces)**

For Solo, Duo, and Quad (laminate maple/white), and Solo Pro interior:

- Use a **soft cloth** (microfiber or similar).
- Clean with **mild soap and water** or a gentle, non-abrasive all-purpose cleaner.
- Wipe dry to avoid streaks.

🚫 Avoid:

- Abrasive pads, steel wool, or scrub sponges
- Strong solvents (acetone, paint thinner, etc.)
- Steam cleaners

### **PET Acoustic Panels (interior felt)**

These are the soft acoustic panels made from **recycled plastic bottles**.

- Dust or vacuum with a **soft brush attachment**.
- For spots: dab gently with a **slightly damp cloth** and mild soap, then blot dry.

🚫 Avoid:

- Soaking the panel
- Scrubbing aggressively
- Harsh chemicals

### **Raw Wood Edging (Solo, Duo, Quad)**

Solo, Duo, and Quad feature a **raw wood edge detail** on the panels.

- Dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
- If needed, use a very mild cleaner on a cloth and wipe dry right away.

🚫 Avoid:

- Excess water or soaking the edge
- Harsh chemicals that can discolor or dry out the wood

### **Edge-Banded Finish (Solo Pro)**

Solo Pro uses a **premium edge-banded finish** (no exposed wood edge).

- Clean like other laminate surfaces: soft cloth + mild cleaner.
- Wipe dry to keep it looking crisp and uniform.

### **Glass & Windows**

For the doors and skylights:

- **Zenbooth Solo, Duo & Quad glass doors and skylights**: Use standard glass cleaner or a mixture of water and a small amount of mild dish soap.
- **Zenbooth Solo Pro polycarbonate door:** Use lukewarm water and mild dish soap with a soft microfiber cloth. Do not use glass cleaners containing ammonia, alcohol, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the polycarbonate.
- Apply cleaner to the cloth rather than directly to overhead surfaces to avoid drips into seams.
- Wipe dry with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- 🚫 Avoid abrasive cleaners, scrubbing pads, or rough cloths that could scratch the surfaces.

### **Floor & Anti-Fatigue Mat**

For models with floors (Solo, Solo Pro):

- Vacuum or sweep regularly.
- Wipe the anti-fatigue mat with a damp cloth + mild soap as needed.
- Let it dry fully before use to avoid slipping.

For Duo & Quad (no built-in floor):

- Treat the floor, carpet, or rug underneath like any other office area (vacuum regularly).
- For both comfort and acoustics, a low-pile rug or carpet is recommended.

### **Seals & Gaskets**

- Wipe door seals gently with a damp cloth if they accumulate dust.
- 🚫 Avoid pulling or stretching gasket material.

If you notice a seal is loose, starting to peel, or visibly damaged, reach out to support for replacement parts.

### **Fans & Vents**

- Visually check vents every so often for dust buildup.
- Light dust can be vacuumed gently with a brush attachment.

If airflow feels significantly reduced and cleaning the grills doesn’t help, contact support immediately.

### **Power Cord & Outlets**

- Ensure the main power cord is not pinched under the booth or furniture.
- Route the cord along a no-traffic path to prevent tripping.
